Pico laser, short for picosecond laser, is a type of laser technology that uses ultra-short pulses of laser light, to target excess melanin in the skin, reducing the appearance of hyperpigmentation issues including

 Pico Lasers use high energy instead of heat to target skin discolorations. Because of the speed of the energy pulses, it is considered one of the safest laser treatments on the market with significantly shorter recovery period and downtime.

 Compared to other laser treatments, pico laser is significantly more comfortable. 

While a majority of patients do not require numbing cream, it is our goal to keep you comfortable, so we do offer local anesthetic based on your pain tolerance.

Patients will experience mild redness immediately after and last around 24 hours following treatment. Patients may also experience mild bruising and swelling following the treatment, which can last for next few days.

 The number of treatments depends on your skin condition and treatment goals. Some concerns can be treated in a single session, while others may require several visits spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.
