Laser Rejuvenation with fractional picolaser:

 This type of laser treatment combines fractional technology with picosecond laser pulses. 

Fractional laser treatments deliver laser energy in a pattern of microscopic laser beams, targeting only a fraction of the skin's surface in each session. This creates tiny columns of treated tissue surrounded by untouched skin, promoting faster healing and minimizing downtime compared to traditional ablative laser treatments, which remove the entire surface layer of skin.

These treatments are non-ablative meaning that the laser energy doesn't remove the outer layer of the skin, but instead penetrates deeper into the dermis to stimulate collagen production and skin rejuvenation. Non-ablative lasers are less invasive than ablative lasers, resulting in minimal damage to the skin's surface and faster recovery times.

 The number of treatments will depend on your individual cosmetic concerns. On average, most patients get between 3-6 sessions, however some patients see their desired results after only a single treatment. Treatments are scheduled between 2-4 weeks apart. 

 Compared to other laser treatments, pico laser is significantly more comfortable. 

While a majority of patients do not require numbing cream, it is our goal to keep you comfortable, so we do offer local anesthetic based on your pain tolerance.

The procedure usually takes between 15 and 30 minutes  

As with most laser treatments, you can expect some redness and swelling. Pico laser treatment has no downtime. You are immediately safe to return to work or school. The redness and swelling will subside shortly, usually between a few hours and a day or two. 

 Most common side effect is lingering redness or swelling, but this rarely lasts beyond 24 hours in most cases. One potential side effect is unwanted pigmentation/dark spots associated with acne scarring. If this occurs, the scars will appear slightly white during and after treatment, darken over the next day, and shed after 2 to 5 days.
